"Only fools climb that dreadful mountain and those who make it back are never the same." 

The peak of the mountain. known to bless those who make it to the summit with more power than one could imagine but few make the trek, and few make it back to tell the tale. Only those brave enough, who wish to seek power, glory or even the thrill wish to see the summit. 

The climb is impossible to mere humans and those who make it to the peak never come back the same. Fear, agony, and a sense of emptiness is all that remains. the shell of what once was. Stories tell of beautiful cosmic phenomenon, glittering in the skies above. Gods beckoned those who reach its peak to ascend, to reconnect with a missing piece of themselves that they lost along the way. 

Beyond the peak and the mountains summit some say those that ascend become immortal and move to the city of gold You lived with your mother and for most of your life and she was all you knew of. 

The day came where she was no longer there. The last of your encouragement ripped from your hands and now sat at the peak of a mountain Her death was a mystery to you... With hopes high and no one to stop you but yourself, you ready yourself to take the plunge and ascend the mountain top in hopes of seeing her one last time but you knew it wouldn’t be easy. Passed victims of the mountain leave their marks along the trail. Willing to pull down any unknowing travelers with them. 

Creatures that were unknown to anyone lied within the mountains Your mother was worth the climb. 

Her advice was second to none and the question still lies how did she die and why did she have to leave you alone?
